Hello, I was hoping someone could help me out here... I booked a 7:45 Segway tour at Epcot Dec 16 and the CM who I booked the tour with told me I'd have to provide my own transportation because the buses don't run that early. I'm not going to have my own transportation because I'm going ME and Disney buses to the parks. I was just there in October and the CM that checked me in at All Star Sports (which is where I'm staying this time as well) told me that the buses started running at 7:00am.

So I called the All Star Sports direct line to ask them. She said since Epcot doesn't open until 9:00am that the buses wouldn't start running until 8:00am. Just out of curiousity, I asked her what the people who had 8:15 character breakfast reservations were to do. She said "well, there will be buses waiting at approximately 6:45am. No matter what the marquee (sp?) on the bus says, tell the bus driver where you need to go and they will make sure you get there."

So, has anyone done this? I just don't know if I should call a cab that morning... I don't really want to, I'd rather take the bus...

Any advice is appreciated :)

I don't have any advice specific to your question time wise, but want to add that twice before I have been waiting for a bus and had a bus with no designation pull up ask me where I was going and took me there .

One of these was a resort to resort trip. Dixie Landings ( at the time ) to the Contemp.

I'd just take a cab. It seems crazy to be at the bus stop 90 minutes before you need to eb at your destination.

Three words: call a cab.
I had the 7:45 tour, and I was staying in the Beach Club Villas, and I STILL had to call a cab. Every time we came to a gate, we were told "the park is closed." But I kept saying I have a 7:45 tour, and we got through.
Still, it was absolutely worth it. My wife and I were the ONLY ones on the tour. We basically had a private ride through Epcot. We were done with the training in about 15 minutes, so we got to spend extra time in the park, including going to places that the other tours didn't go.
Then, of course, we had the rest of the day to play.
Have fun!

The "6:45AM" is about when the busses start. Actually for MK, it is earlier. Anywhay, be out at the bus stop about 7AM. There will be a bus to take you to Epcot.
