Got a 15 year DVC present today

I received my 2007-2008 planner today along with a beautiful Commemorative "Giclee" print of all the DVC resorts. I can't describe it other than to say it is really colorful and quite beautiful. I don't know what a giclee print is, but that is what they called it.
It is an 11x14 canvas stretched on a wooden frame with a paint look. Really beautiful.
the box it came in was cute, with a pop up pull tab decoration. Cute.
I love both, and the planner is nice, although I haven't looked at it yet.

I keeep looking to see if any Jersey people got it. I am so bummed , I need to get a fix until our Thanksgiving trip !!! Boy I just read how bad that sounds (I'm sure you guys understand)!!!!

I'm from Jersey and I got my Planner last Thursday. I'm sure you will get it very soon. I don't believe there is a "method" in which Disney sends mailings.

Is this something all members get or do you have to be in DVC for a certain number of years? I've been reading the postings about this and it sounds awesome but since we're new members I'd hate to get my hopes up about getting one of those lovely sounding prints. We did just receive a planner when we joined in february.

I have a couple of giclees', they are similar to a canvas. I was told by my framer to frame it without glass or plexiglass so the canvas can 'breathe'.

Stop at a frame shop and ask them what they recommend.

I bought a ready made wooden frame (frame only) at Michael's (on sale this week) and will use clips to hold the giclee in place.

Still waiting in West Virginia too. Part of the Wash. DC metro area. Anyone in my neighbor get one yet. I leave for WDW next weekend and am hoping to get it before I leave. I did read on the website that they will be sending them to all members by Oct. 31.

I got my left at my front door was not sent US mail, so if you are like me, I don't us my front door much, because I park in the garage and well I don't know how many days it was at the front door until my brother came to visit and actually use the front door and brought my package in. So, go check your front doors. It might be waiting there now. Have fun
