Hey! I am going to Disneyland soon and I want to film my brother's face on california screamin' with my gopro. What kind of mount should i use or what is the mount that hooks up to the front of the rollercoaster and faces towards your face

I’m pretty sure they won’t let you mount anything to the vehicle. This forum is centered on Disney World in Florida, by the way.

ETA: Since moved from TPAS to Disneyland forum.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that would be a no go on either coast.

Yeah, I don't think this is gonna be something you'll be able to do. If you want to film him, hold it in your hand and hold on tight.

While selfie and extension sticks are banned in the parks, you can get the GoPro handle and use that sitting next to them. They will not let you attached to the vehicle.

Whats interesting is that some of the RSR cars have one type of mount attached, i forget the brand but i know people that use them for iphones and gopros. I haven't looked for them on CS.

Not sure you'll be allowed to have it out on the ride.
I've seen CM's tell people to put phones, cameras and other things like that away before they the car leaves the platform.

I would double check with Guest Services, but I've heard that the helmet and wrist mounts are allowed since they count as clothing (being attached). If this is accurate, then those should be allowed on CS. But, again, I would confirm this before riding.

You are permitted to use the head, chest & wrist mounts on most rides. I am not sure the head mount would be permitted on CS. I am pretty sure they would let you physically mount something to the coaster itself. I used the chest mount on California Screamin. If you are wanting to get your brothers face I would use the wrist mount and angle the GoPro at his face.

I would need a picture of this mount in rsr ride vehicles. I’ve ridden it countless times and have never seen such a thing.

It is Ram mount. I don't have a pic, searched and the only thing I found was this older article but this is exactly what I am talking about. This was in front of the seat I sat in last time. You have probably seen it and didn't reLize as its just a black piece of plastic. I just recognized the name because I was researching mounts for my wifes car. The pic posted by stevensokulski shows
