I'm sitting at work, waiting for my trainee to come in (we don't actually start until 6:45).

So what is everyone up to today? I'm in the lobby today ( ), but at least since I'm training I will have something to do. The main problem, no computer (my trainee will be using it).

And of course when I get home from work my new HP book should be there, so I'll be reading that when I get home. I might or might not get sleep tonight....

I may have to go visit a friend later and go swimming in the pool too thought..

Howdy, all! It's a beautiful midsummer morning here -- air smells GREAT from our thunderstorm last night and today, I think I'm gonna fire up the charcoal grill with some salmon steaks.

A nice cool day today. We are finally getting the boat in the water today!!! Padalyn is sleeping until about 11am, and then off to Greenwood Lake. We usually go first thing in the morning, but she woked last night, and we both prefer she be rested when towing the boat. Padalyn's Boat is a 19' Triumph Fish and Ski. Her name is Gyrl's Pride.

An overcast morning out here in So. Cal. It's going to get warm so the pups are out creating general havoc before they have to be shut in the house with the A/C for the rest of the day.

The last beautiful weather day here for a while according to the forecast; 85 and sunny with a nice dry breeze. Should be ideal weather for watching the 4th largest fireworks show in the US tonight: the Minneapolis Aquatennial is heading into its finale. The 10 best days of summer! We'll take the light rail downtown to the riverfront to see 'em, maybe stopping by a handy gay bar for a nightcap.

Boo had to work today so when he gets home were going to lunch out somewhere.Than i think we will go shopping i need new stuff for disney.

So I pre-ordered my Harry Potter book from the evil store back in April. It was guarenteed to be delivered today. I got the confirmation that it was shipped USPS overnight yesterday. Today, no book. I called USPS and they told me that overnight shipping is not guarenteed, and that it could be Monday or Tuesday.


I'm soooooooo mad!!

Sorry to hear that David! I got the book this AM at the local BN. I went by another BN close to my house and there were 1000 people in line at 12:05.

I'm just about halfway through...I'm saving the rest to read tomorrow on the train back down to DC.

Oh, I got my Disney packet!!!

It was a beautiful day in Buffalo today - a bit cooler than lately (high 70's), blue sky and just a slight breeze. I saw kind of an odd thing tonight - I went for a walk at a marina downtown and saw a very, very large yacht docked there. Now that's not totally strange since obviously it's a marinia so there are lots of boats and we get quite a few people passing through as they tour the Great Lakes (note: if you're not familiar with it Buffalo it's on Lake Erie). Anyhow, this ship was quite impressive and I always look at the back of the visiting one's to see where they're from. Well, this one is from the Marshall Islands! When I got home I had to actually check Google Earth to verify where it was and yup, it's a long, long, long way from Buffalo!! I hope they at least get a double order of wings while they're here!

Well I got my HP book yesterday at about 7pm (it went to my neighbor's house yesterday ). Just finished reading it about noon today
