I just did a Google search and EVERY site that showed up in the results had a 'malware' warning that "this site may harm your computer". I KNOW they are reputable sites. Do I have something on my computer or has this happened to anyone else?

Just happened to me. i did another search and it happened again. I tried to 'go on' to get to the site (NPR for goodness' sakes) and Google wouldn't let me (some "error" message or something). I think Google has either been hacked or they've released the worst update in their history.

agnes!

It just happened to me as well... I jumped over to Firefox and it was fine... IE is having some major issue's

I have Safari(running an iMac).

I just tried a search and the same thing happened to me. Wonder what is going on?

It's not browser specific. I'm using Firefox and having the problem. It's a Google problem.

One workaround is to edit the address. When you click on a Google link, the address will look something like:

http://www.google.com/interstitial?url=http://www.disboards.com

If you highlight the http://www.google.com/interstitial?url= part at the beginning and press your delete key, you'll be left with the address you wanted to go to. Just press enter and it will take you there.

On the other hand, maybe Google is working just fine and every website in the world has been hacked with malware.

It's google, I did a Yahoo search and that is working just fine :lmao: .

My son and I just had the same problem. I was searching for the school's website as we have a case of meningitis in our school system. Every site that comes up has the message This site may harm your computer message. If you scroll down on the Google page there is a link to type in complaints if you are Dissatisfied...which I did.

I used Google for NOAA weather and it did the same thing on every NOAA hit!

If you type in the direction manually it works fine (or if you use a favorite place), it seems to be the linking process that is having the problem.
So if you want to use google right now, just highlight the web address and paste in the the search field, and it should work fine.

Google just worked for me...maybe they fixed it.

was happening to me too, the same time it was for you all, and now it is back to normal?

is it back to normal for you all too?

maybe it was a glitch. I panicked for a second and thought I had a virus
