I just noticed that Google Earth has been updated and now shows BLT! It was nice to see our home resort from a birds eye view. You can also see the layout of the new Golden Oaks subdivision.

Thanks for the heads up about Google Maps. I never realized how BLT's pool looks a little like a hidden Mickey.

Oooh, thanks for the post! Kidani Village is now visible on the google maps satalite view too! (This may have been up for a little while, but I know that at least as of the begining of June the view they had was a few years old and Kidani hadn't been built yet so there was just a grassy, tree filled space where my new "home" now sits.) I'm going to have to check out all of Disney on google maps again! When I was showing my roommate the satalite images on google maps last month, you could still see the wand up over Spaceship Earth, and the discontinued holiday lights archway at Epcot.

There goes my morning! :thumbsup2

Google Earth is a fun and cost effective way to visit Disney. I wonder how high Disney ranks in the frequency of Google Earth searches?

That's really cool. You can really get a good idea of when the satelite image was taken. Look at Fantasyland. You can see the wall up for the expansion. Ariel's grotto is still there, but if you look closely you can see that Pooh's tree house has recently been moved. There is still a hole in the old spot.

I noticed the had the All Stars resorts(movie I think) located in the wrong location. They have them north of SSR up by DTD...smjj

There are a few things mislabled. I also noticed what appears to be a Mexican Restaurant in the middle of the Seven Seas Lagoon, on one of the little tree covered islands. :lmao: Good luck with THAT ADR! ;)

I wondered about this. I thought that this was a restaurant I never new about that must have been closed.:lmao:

Boy it says a lot when we here can catch all these places mis-labled on a map. I guess we are really Disney fans huh??...smjj:goodvibes:goodvibes
