Goofy's or Plaza for Character Breakfast

I'd like to plan a character breakfast for the kids for our last day which is a Friday. I'm thinking either Goofy's (we are staying at the DLH) or Plaza.

Reservations for either would be no earlier than 9:20 AM based on what I see available for our party of 8. We do not have to head to the airport until late afternoon so I had been thinking we'd go into the park for a bit.

Recommendations for either?

Plaza, hands down. I would suggest Goofys if you don't have park tickets for the day and we're looking for something to do in the morning.

We've done both within the last year.

Goofy's Kitchen is a less characters (and a set group of characters). They make their way around the room in a fairly orderly fashion, so you can kind of gauge when they're getting to you. Lots of food options, some good, some meh.

Plaza Inn is more characters, and a random group. It's much more frantic because the characters are just milling around, so we'd be walking to the buffet and suddenly my daughter would run over and hug Tigger or something - and I'd be like, ahh, we don't have our camera or autograph book! I think there were fewer food options, they were pretty good for buffet food but nothing spectacular.

If I wanted to see lots of characters and maximize my park time, I'd do Plaza. If I wanted a little more of an orderly experience, I'd do Goofy.

Plaza Inn! We did it again a few weeks ago and loved it as usual!!! We saw 11 characters and they all came right to our table more than once! It was awesome!!!

The food is standard buffet food but I enjoy it! I'm on a low carb diet so the omelette station, bacon and fruit works out well for me!!
