Goofy's Kitchen

Goofy's Kitchen is by far the best place to eat in Disneyland Resort. My family goes to the Disneyland resort approximatly 2-3 times a month. Goofy's kitchen has become a staple in our visits. The food is great and the characters are top notch. They spend lots of time with children and adults a like. Every 45 minutes the music gets loud and all of the characters along with all of the children in the restaurant run to the center by the buffet. Everyone does the macarana (not sure on spelling) together and dance along side their favorite characters. Pluto and Goofy are always there. Chip and Dale are almost regulars along with Minnie who are there most nights. Aladdin is another one who is there on most nights. Out of the 20 or so times we have been there he has not been there twice. It is great when Jasmine joins him!!! Aladdin is my daughters favorite. Others that we have seen are the Genie, Cinderella, Aurora, Snow White, Mulan, Turk, Jane, Captain Hook, Belle, Max and more I am sure I forgeting. It may seem pricey when you walk through the door but it is worth every penny. We have only been there for dinner but they also serve breakfast adn lunch. Thanks for your post! We have ressies theer for the first night of

trip. We thought it would be similar to Chef Mickey's at WDW. This

is our first trip to DL and there will be us and my son and his

family, seven in all. We thought that would b e a good way to

start the fun!!!

You can't go wrong with Goofy's kitchen, you will have a GREAT time!!! I this it is like Chef Mickey's but unfortuantly last time we went to WDW we could not get PS for CF. From what I hear they are very similar. Be sure to have your autograph books ready (if you want those). The tables are also covered in paper so some characters like Aladdin carry a marker with them and they draw on your table. We usually wind up having to clear off our table and take the paper with us. Going on the first night is a great idea. You can get 5 or so characters out of the way at the beginning of your trip!!! Have a great time! If you have any questions about DL let me know. A birthday is great at Goofy's kitchen. Did you pay the $5.00 room set up fee??? When you have kids at the party you usually pay the $5.00 for each kid but for you could just pay it for one. What the "room set up fee" includes is balloons at your table, and a party bag. the party bag has a marraca, a goofy pen, etc..... Then they bring you a very cute birthday cupcake and get teh whole restuarant to sing to you. They will bring the cupcake even if you do not pay the $5.00 you just have to tell your server. When you go that route the server is less likely to round up characters to sing too. So basically the $5.00 would be good for the balloons and the guareentee of characters, etc..... The balloons also let every character know it is your birthday before the singing. I hope this is making sense. Have a great time and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
