Just wondering about going there as a large group (around 20). I've never been there and wondering how they receive a large group. Are they accomadating? How about the character interaction?

What is the cost for breakfast, I can't seem to find the exact cost info anywhere. I am wondering if the purchase ahead vouchers are a better value.

Also, one more big question from some members of our party, is the frozen yogurt bar available at breakfast?

Thanks! :goodvibes

There is frozen yougert but I went for dinner so I'm not sure about breakfast. the price depends on the season it fluctuates.

I've gone with a large group, I think we were about 16 in total. We had no issues getting a table, however we DID have a reservation, so they knew to expect us and had a table all ready. Character interaction was good, we were travelling with 14 adults and only 2 children (both preschoolers) and we all had a good time.

The price is dependant on when you are going. Your best bet is to call and ask.

1 (714) 781-DINE or 1 (714) 781-3463

Oh and every time I've gone we've had frozen yogurt (brunch or dinner)

I was told by a phone dining CM two days ago that they have done away with seasonal pricing. Current pricing (but always subject to change): $33/adults and $17/kids.

The vouchers for Goofy's are not worth it for breakfast as it is considered a premium meal.
Not sure about large groups but we had awful character (and general CM) interaction here last Sept.
I actually can't see myself risking the $ to try it again

In the past, I have had wonderful experiences at Goofy's. When we were staying in Anaheim for an event, without park tickets we were allowed to dine here for dinner. I am pretty sure the frozen yogurt bar in open all day. I have been w/ a group of about 10 with reservations and we had a great time. Have fun!

;)

Thanks everyone :goodvibes we do have a reservation so that shouldn't be a problem and it sounds like big groups are ok. We will have 6 kids under 12 and then a mix of teenagers to grandparents.
Thanks for the price update, it just has a range of prices when you do the online reservation. I wasn't sure if the vouchers that you can get ($44 for $50 value) were worth it for breakfast, but it sounds like they are not.
Hopefully we will all have a good time as this is the only meal we are doing in the parks.

We were just there on Jan 8. If you don't go in expecting too much ( as far as characters ) you'll be fine. We saw Goofy at the photo station ( he did not visit tables), Minnie, Chip, Dale, and Pluto. Each of the other four characters came to our table once. Twice during our meal there was an announcement to wave your napkins and the characters came skipping through the room in a line. That was it.

OP, not sure if this matters to you, but this is the set rotation. These 5 and only these 5. Previously they offered a random variety of characters here, but changed to this set number and selection last November I think.

This used to be a standing regular for us at least once each trip. For the first time ever, we'll probably skip it next time.

Aw, I actually didn't know that. I loved the random characters that used to be available. Does Minnie's breakfast now have set characters too?

I don't get why chip and dale are part of the lineup here they should I'm my opinion have more themed to goofys characters. Perhaps Pete, Donald, etc

Minnies stayed the same. We saw 9 random characters the morning we ate there. I hate that it requires park time early in the day to do that, but it will be our "go to" character from here forward.

I'd like to be able to report that the interaction we got from the 4 characters in the dining room (Goofy just meets our front) was improved because of the new limited lineup. But it wasn't We saw 3 right off the bat when we sat down, then had to sit around twiddling our thumbs until Pluto finally made it over.

I know, the time it takes and, TBH, I hate the buffeteria feel of Minnie's and we like the food least of all the character meals, Decisions, decisions. Thanks for answering.

I have to say that it really frustrates me that they duplicate so many of the character at the different breakfasts. For example, Minnie is at her breakfast, but also at Surf's Up and Goofy's Kitchen. Pluto is at both Surf's Up and Goofy's Kitchen. Chip & Dale are at their breakfast and also at Minnie's and Goofy's Kitchen. If they are going to limit us to so few characters, they should at least make them unique experiences.

And what makes Goofy's Kitchen a "premium " dining experience?

I've never seen Minnie at goofys but it would make more sense for her to be there than capt hook or chip and dale. I like how they have the characters at storytellers woodland creatures. If they stuck to more of a theme that would make way more sense

We went to Goofy's kitchen this past weekend and Chip & Dale, Pluto, Minnie & Goofy out front taking pictures. They came around 5 or 6 times in the hour or so we were there. It was great fun!

LOL. Ours was the opposite. Great character interaction, and for the price, the food sucked.
