We had a great time. The food, the atmosphere, the characters, the energy!!!!

The only thing I'd say I was disappointed in, is where we sat. It was in the corner and really couldn't see anything out in the restuarant. I did try to get another spot but 1. they were full and 2. everyone was incredibly hungry and didn't want to wait for a different table. If anyone has a way to respectfully request a particular table I'm all ears.

My favorite part of breakfast (besides eating pizza cookies) was dancing with Goofy and cooking with Goofy. They really know how to entertain not only the kiddo's but the "big kids" as well.

Anyone looking for a great place to have a great meal and enjoy some fun entertainment, Goofy's Kitchen is your place.

You are sneaky and clever! I saw that you had accidentally posted this in the TR section and I instantly rushed over here to read the bad review! I am so glad you had a good time (and now I can remove my protective headgear and running shoes), but I wouldn't have been shocked if you said you had an AWFUL time. Only because it seems there has been an inordinate number of complaints about Goofy's in just the last month or so, and it made me wonder if they have new people in the furry suits, who have not yet learned how to really show the guests a good time! So I was afraid that would be your experience too, but thankfully it wasn't! However, it will be funny to see who spots your thread title and joins in on the Goofy's bashing!! Well, it sounds like it was a great ending to your trip, and your trip must have been great overall if you are now experiencing the PVD you spoke of in your TR thread!!

You know, I have never thought to request a different table, oddly. We always kind of go where they stick us, and in the last two years it has been fine, but in previous years when Goofy's was in a different location, I seem to recall that we would get bad tables (out of the line of action, and not in close proximity to food) every now and then. That is a good point, though - how to request a non-corner situation (it makes getting up for food tough, I bet).

I'm sorry to say I dont' have pictures but I know someone on DIS does. The kids thought it was quite neat to have pizza cookies to top off their hotdogs and mac n chz for breakfast!!!

"Pizza Cookies".......Are you talking about the peanut butter and jelly pizza or something else? We haven't been there in a year and a half, so I'm just wondering if this is the same thing that you're referring to. Oh..........and I've always wanted to mention to you that I have a DS named Connor too! It seems like the name is getting more and more popular. He is 14, and there weren't too many around when he was very young.

My DS just loves them (especially the ones that are apple cinnamon or something like that) and we wanted to make sure they had them at our next character breakfast. Sadly, I LOVE those mini-muffins and I have eaten too many of them the last several times I have been to Goofy's Kitchen. Now, I have not been to GK YET in 2009 (that is coming up in July), but in 2007 and 2008, there were mini-muffins galore - I especially love the little blueberry and chocolate ones! In fact, the mini-muffins seem to have replaced the mini-doughnuts that they used to keep out. I loved those doughnuts too, but they seem to have been discontinued.

Oh, someone mentioned the creme brulee French toast - again, we saw it in '08 and '07, BUT another DIS-er (it may have been swimrsal) just went to Goofy's a few weeks ago and said there was no creme brulee French toast to be found. Not sure if they just didn't put out a fresh batch or maybe they stopped serving it?? I hope they didn't stop serving it altogether!

We LOVED Chef Mickey's at our 1st WDW family trip last yeat so I'm sure this will be alot like Chef Mickey's so I know we are going to have FUN FUN FUN

Oh, FariryDust2008 - so you did decide on Goofy's after all, eh? I was wondering because, when you started that thread a few weeks ago about asking everyone to share photos of the character meals and we all started posting pictures from Goofy's, Ariel's, Lilo and Stitch, etc., you disappeared from the thread - so I wasn't sure if our photos had influenced you towards or away from one character meal or another!! But Goofy's is still on the agenda, so that's good!!
