Goofys Kitchen question...

How do we get there? I have been trying to decide what character meal to do. I was thinking of the Minnie breakfast because its in the park but i dont like the idea of using valuable morning time to eat. If we do Goofys on a day we go to the park what are the transportation options? Does the monorail go to the DLH? Do they have a tram?

Also I am considering eating there on an off day so we wouldnt be taking time from the parks. Does the ART bus go there?

You would either want to walk or ride the monorail. Its about 10-15 min walk. The monorail will be down for few months, if it is up operating you could take it. It would get you from tomorrowland to the middle of DTD. You would walk from there. There is no tram and ART does not go to any of the Disney hotels.

We liked to Minnies because it is in the park. You have to eat at some point. It doesnt take that much longer to do a character meal then a walk up meal somewhere else in the park. We liked have a light breakfast then go to the park. We play for 2-3 hours, then have a nice breakfast with Minnie. Around 10 works well for us. With that late of a breakfast we can get by with a snack for lunch or a late lunch/ early dinner. We like not having to waste time leaving the park to eat.

If Mickey is going to show up anywhere it would probably be Minnies. But, typically he is not there. They used to have him at Ariels before it was the princess meal. Oh, and he is at the daily birthday party at the Plaza Inn.
