I have to say you guys are all so awesome. You guys have totally help get prepared for DLR.

Anyway, I had another question. My DD and I are going to AG for breakfast. Both my DH and DS are not interested. Typically we do character dining together (but we're okay with splitting up this time) so my DH doesn't usually worry about logistics. This time I'm planning it for him. He wants something convenient. We love Goofy's Kitchen at WDW. But he wasn't sure about the extra time to get there at DL. I told him that he could just take the monorail to DTD (from Tomorrowland) and that DL hotel was just across the street.

Was I lying? Is it easy to get to from DL? or should I just book at Minnie's for them (which I don't think they'll like as much). Like he's okay if it was similar to WDW with a short walk, we had to take a monorail to Contemporary Resort for Goofy's Kitchen.

What do you guys think?

I'd say your partial right, as the Monorail is near the end of DTD, only have to walk by Rainforest & ESPN before you get to the corner of the dreams tower. Goofy's kitchen is at straight through - so maybe a 5 min (casual) walk.
I would think more timing getting on the monorail would be the challange.

good luck

You can get to DLH by taking the monorail, you disembark and exit to the right, walk past ESPN Zone and RFC and into the DLH. It's about 5-7 min. walk depending on how much traffic there is.

M&F is inside the park, I personally find that much more convenient. You don't need to leave the park, just head up to MS and stop at the Plaza, there you go! Very convenient IMO.

I agree, the Minnie's is much more convenient. We are going to Goofy's for dinner, but only because we HAVE to or we won't be able to use the voucher - which would be giving up almost $80. Because the voucher does not have a dollar amount on it, it is not able to be used elsewhere - darn it!

I gather your Dh and DS will be in DL while you're at Ariel's for breakfast?

If so, he can do Cafe Orleans or Riverbelle Terrace for breakfast if they don't want characters.
