Hi, fellow DISers! Could you please tell me more about your memories of/ experiences at GK for breakfast, including:

--Was there only a buffet, or could you order off the menu, too?

--What kinds of foods were on the buffet? On the menu (if applicable)?

--What was the food-quality like?

--Did you have to wait long for a table if you reserved a time?

--How was the service?

--Did you feel like you got your money's worth?

Thanks!

I ate at Goofy's Kitchen a few years ago and enjoyed the experience, but felt it is not worth the cost to eat here every trip.

There was only a buffet when I went, but it was very large.

Here is a link to the buffet menu from 2005, so it could have changed a little since then:

I recall the food being pretty good for a buffet. Nothing fancy, but it was all warm and tasty.

I have not reserved a table before, so I would not know how long the wait was for reservations.

Service was good, and there was quite a bit of character interaction. I enjoyed being able to spend time with Goofy, Alice, Chip & Dale, and others. Plus it was fun to watch the kids dance with the characters when the music would play!

As far as the value for the money, I have difficulty paying a lot for a breakfast even if it involves the characters and a buffet. If you have kids, it is a great time to interact with the characters and even dance with the characters, but as an adult, I would not spend the money. I would much rather save it for souvineers and wait to see the characters in the park.

We ate at Goofy's last year and might again this year. We ate at 9.50am and didn't eat again til dinner time!

The brunch buffet is great with a big selection of breakfast items, cakes, lunch stuff and fresh fruit. We don't have any kids but still love doing character buffets.

Check out allears.net for the menu!

And have fun!!!

We LOVE Goofy's Kitchen. The Character Interaction is by far the best in the parks. Unlike Ariels Grotto which is like an assembly line. The kids have a blast at GK!

It is buffet only but there is a ton of great food. It is also more of a brunch then breakfast.

If you are crazy like our family and like to get to the parks when then open then do that. Make your res. for later morning (like lunch time). You can grab somthing quick first thing in the morning. GO get some rides in without the crowds then go back and eat Brunch. Then at dinner you will be so full that you can just grab something small again.

We also loved it. The food was good, and also did not eat until dinner. The best, and something we have not experienced at WDW, was the interaction between Goofy and the kids. That was well worth it. The video we have and the pictures were great. All the kids get together in one are and play with Goofy. It last about 5 minutes and for us we were there for about 40 minutes and they got together twice. Oh yes, since kids under 3 eat for free (off our plates) my daughter ate for free. We will do it again next time we go.

We ate there last weekend and loved it!! We got seated within minutes of checking in and we had a large party of 12, so I was surprised (I did make PS, but it was still quick). The buffet had a lot of food and everybody in our group loved all of it, which if you knew how picky our group is, was a shocker. I was so full by the end, but wish I could have eaten more because there was a lot of things I still wanted to try. The character interaction was awesome and they spent a lot of time with our kids. Baloo even sat down on the floor to be at their level and my little one cuddled him for at least 10 minutes.

We're going again in December and are debating doing Goofy's again or trying Storyteller's for the first time.
