Will be my trio's b'day. Would you do the b'fast or dinner?

We haven't been to Goofy's for breakfast/brunch. We usually spend the morning in the parks when it's less crowded. The lines aren't as long and we collect FP's for later in the day when the parks are busiest..

We like to go to goofy's for an early dinner and use it as a nice break from the parks until we head back in the evening...

We ate there for b'fast/brunch and thought it was very good. There's enough of a selection that if you don't want b'fast there are other foods to choose from - and vice-versa for those who love b'fast foods.

The PP has a great idea though.

On the day we went we were leaving DL to do the Warner Bros Studio Tour so we weren't giving up our park time.

Have fun deciding!

If you happen to choose a day when Goofy's Kitchen is open until 2 PM, weekends I think, then you could do your park touring in the morning and do a brunch PS for sometime between 11 and 12. We like this option because we can eat a little something to get us going in the morning but then have a nice big filling meal between our morning touring and our afternoon rest time.

Hey there, Triplefigs! I was wondering what was happening with your trip. I don't think I had seen any updates from you since when you first posted a while back (and I was filling you in on Goofy's and the other places to eat at DLR).

I prefer the breakfast selections at Goofy's. Either way, there are tons of choices for breakfast or dinner so there is no shortage of variety, but I just like the breakfast stuff better. A lot of other folks prefer dinner. (Also, breakfast is slightly cheaper.) We usually do Goofy's in the 7:00 a.m. hour and then head to the park. If you think your triplets would enjoy breakfast food more, then you should go with that. Certain days Goofy's is open until 2 p.m. (like on Saturdays in peak seasons such as summer and the holiday season), but other days it closes at noon. You don't want to be there too close to closing because the characters begin to trickle out and they stop putting out fresh batches of food. Dinner begins at 5 p.m.

Whether it's dinner or breakfast, I think if you make sure to let the CM know your triplets are having a birthday when you make your Disneyland Dining reservation on the phone, they will make a note of it in their system and then the waiter/waitress should bring out cupcakes or some other sort of sweet treat for the triplets, and a couple of the waiters/waitresses and maybe Goofy or another character will come over and sing a silly little birthday song. It's cute!
