We are going to GK with a large party (25+) a few of us have premium AP's, will they give the whole group the discount if we all have 1 bill? Or just a discount per AP? Thanks

Wow! That will be one hefty bill for 25+ people!!! Yikes! I assume that you can get the PAP 15% discount for the whole group, as log as there is one bill. I don't see why they would not do it. The problem would be if you broke up the bills and people paid separately, and then you tried to use your PAP discount for one of the guests without an AP. Otherwise, I should think it would be no problem.

PHXscuba would be a good one to comment here. PHXscuba went to Goofy's with a large group (though not as large as your group) for dinner in October, and I would hope someone used an AP for a discount for everyone. You need a discount when you have that many people!!:rotfl2:

I KNOW...seriously BIG group, we are going down with school for the Disney YES experience and more and more parents want to go with their teachers and administrators. :) I think being that I am the admin I might want my own table :rolleyes1 HA HA!!!!! AND I am one with the AP, I might get stuck with extra bill! 15% IS 15%...I bet they add gratuity to the bill too with a large group! Oh dear....

They always add gratuity to all bills at Goofy's, even if it is just a party of 2. Now as to whether or not they add extra for larger groups is in question, but they charged us 15% gratuity in December. It has been 15% tip for quite a while. They bring an endless stream of beverages, so I guess that is how they justify adding it on. Now when I went to Storytellers Critter breakfast and got the buffet in October, they did not add the gratuity onto my bill (probably because you have a choice there of menu orders or buffet). I added it myself. But for Goofy's, and I think Minnie & Friends too, where everyone pays the same total, they automatically lump the tip into the total.

Yes, at GK, Minnie & Friends and Ariel's Grotto tax and tip is included when you pay. :) That's a HUGE group of people. For some reason I remember something about AP %s only good for up to 6 people, but that has to be wrong......that can't be right at all.....

I have done several meals with 20+ people and it depends on the CM. Some will give everyone the discount even if it's a split bill, others will not. Just in case you get the latter just tell everyone to bring cash. Cash is great!

We haven't eaten at Goofy's but we had a group of 10 at WCT and we were allowed to use the AP discount for the whole bill. The only thing is that if you're using a credit card, you have to use one that belongs to the person with the AP to get the discount. Like a PP said, cash is good.

If it becomes a problem which I really don't think it will there are also a few other discounts I know AAA is one of them. They is a list in Mousavers I put the link at the bottom of what I cut and pasted from their sight. They also give you one for being tourist from out of country discount they gave us the discount for Japan. But we are from California. There are 6 of us and my husband made them take pity on him for having to be in a house of all girls! ;) So I just don't think they are that strict about it. When they see your party of 25 they'll see they're getting business on way or another ! Now here's a question and I am not good with math so someone that is will have to figure it out for you. But I saw this
Meal Vouchers (valid 1/2/10-1/3/11):

Is the 15% cheaper or 5.75 off a person? If the math I did in my head is right then they are really close in discount $2.00 maybe $1.50. You might want to consider having everyone prepay so then you aren't left collecting everyone's money!:scared1:What a mess that could be with 25 people!
Just a something I thought I would throw out there. Some discount is better then no discount and no headache for you is the best way to go! :yay: :thumbsup2

If I am not mistaken, I believe that the $44.54 price (with tax and tip included) is the Goofy's peak season dinner price, not the off-season price. So using the vouchers in the off-peak, cheaper season may not provide much of a savings unless the voucher prices go down too, but I am not sure.:confused3

This is why I have such a hard time researching things. It's so hard to know when one season ends and another begins. I think it's one way and then find out it's not. There is just so much information it becomes exhausting to figure it out. There was steam coming out of my ears just trying to figure that out! :rotfl: Well so maybe that only helps those who do not have aps and are going during peak season! LOL!! : )
