Hi everyone!

I was just wondering about Goofy's Kitchen brunch:

1) are drinks included in the price (coffee, juice etc) or do we pay for drinks separately?

2) what is the tax on top of of the $31 and $16 price?

3) do they add a 15% gratuity immediately? Or do I pay a tip at the end?

Thanks everyone :)

I want to say that tax is 7.95% so it would be $33.46 and $17.27

3) do they add a 15% gratuity immediately? Or do I pay a tip at the end?
Gratuity is included in the price

A good way to save money is to buy a voucher from Get Away Today.com they sell a meal voucher including drinks, tax and gratuity 18% now,:goodvibes cheaper than at GOOFYS KITCHEN!!

As these are $44 I believe they will only save you money if you are purchase an adult dinner at GK, and then only about $3 :duck:

My tax on my 84.77 bill was 8.31 last week. Gratuity was 19.07. Drinks were included. My price is "odd" because I'm cast....but at least that gives you an idea on %. This was dinner, though.

I was looking at our receipts from our June trip. It seemed to me that if you are a large party 18% gratuity is added first then 8% tax is added (and it seemed like even the tip was taxed) but I could be wrong about that.

gratuity and tips are the same thing-why would they charge you twice? did you mean 8% tax?

Oops! Yes, I did mean 8% tax! Sorry for the confusion. I will edit that!

No drama I was just worried. Here in NZ the sale price of everything includes tax and we don't tip. Despite many trips to the US I never really have gotten my head around it

Last time I ate in Goofy's Kitchen, I received a 10% discount by showing my AAA card.

I cancelled my reservation, as I just can't justify $100 on pancakes this time around, when my little ones may even be frightened by the characters. Ill wait until they are a bit older. Does anyone have a suggestion for where I can find a decent (perhaps NOT table service breakfast) elsewhere in DTD, or the parks?

We like STeakhouse 55. $12 for the 4 by 2 breakfast. 2 eggs any style, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, and 2 pieces french toast or pancakes. (Also breakfast potatoes.) They also have omelettes, pancakes, french toast with fruit, etc. Very good food!

I'm thinking it may have been a while since you ate there? As they stopped the discount a few years ago. They do offer AP discounts and Disney Visa discounts. I think DVC also get a discount.

One of my favorite breakfast stops is Whitewater snacks at the GCH http://allears.net/dlr/din/menu/men_wws.htm
It is quick service but there are nice seats outside that border DCA as well as indoor tables. We stop here several times during our stays. :thumbsup2

Our favorites are Riverbelle Terrace in DL and Flo's in DCA.
