Hey there,

Only one week left before our trip to Disneyland! We are planning to eat at Goofy's Kitchen but can't decide to go for breakfast or for dinner.

Which one do you recommend?

My personal favorite and preference is the breakfast, because I'm more of a 'hearty breakfast kind of person' than a dinner person. Other folks who are not 'breakfast people' might swing the other way and suggest dinner. The two times I had dinner at Goofy's over the years (and I actually forgot about one of those times until a friend reminded me) happened to be on nights when I was not very hungry. So nothing at the very large buffet appealed to me. I am always famished when we hit the breakfast buffet, however, and so I naturally am more inclined to recommend that, even though there was nothing wrong with the dinner other than the fact that I just was not hungry.

Here is a page from Disneynerd420's Trip Report from Fall 2009 - scroll all the way down the page and see photos of the wonderful, extensive Goofy's breakfast buffet – Posts #338 and #339:

We don't seem to have any extensive photos of the Goofy's dinner buffet, but it is just as large as breakfast. I do, however, have a list of dinner buffet items that was posted on Mouse Savers or some such site last year. Keep in mind that some of the breakfast items seem to be included on this dinner buffet list, but you can kind of tell which item goes with which meal. Pizza, chicken and hot dogs are served at both breakfast and dinner. The menu and meat entrees tend to change often, but some possible selections include:

create-your-own omlet station including mushrooms, onions, ham, tomatoes, green peppers and olives
whole eggs are available fried to your liking
carving station with roast tri tip and ham
Daisy's scrambled eggs
Max's crisp bacon
Cruella's pork sausage
Donald's bacon potatoes
cereal - Apple Jacks, Fruit Loops, Rice Krispies and Raisin Bran
cottage cheese
creamy garlic red rose potatoes
Pluto's citrus asparagus
Belle's baked ham
Goofy's biscuits and gravy
Aladdin's enchiladas
fresh broccolini
tortellini with marinara
sweet and sour roasted chicken
grilled salmon
Pluto's rice pilaf
meat lasagna
sauteed vegetables
Goofy's chicken noodle soup
Cruella's tomato and garlic pizza
Pluto's pepperoni pizza
Chip's cheese pizza
Goofy's peanut butter and jelly pizza
mini-bagels
smoked salmon
salad bar
potato salad
meat and cheese platter including ham, turkey, swiss and cheddar
Minnie's assorted muffins
Goofy's assorted pastries including danishes and cinnamon rolls
Donald's croissants
Pluto's hot dogs and buns
Mickey's chicken nuggets
Goofy's potato rounds
Goofyroni and cheese
Mickey Mouse waffles and pancakes
Alice's French toast
Aladdin's apple cobbler
Minnie's apple crepes
Donald's English bread pudding
Jasmine's rice crispy towers
Baloo's lemon bar
Mad Hatter's carrot cake
Dale's peanut butter brownies
Max's worms and dirt
Goofy's goof cake
chocolate chip cookies
cupcakes
sugar cookies
fresh Sliced Fruits including watermelon, honeydew, cantaloupe, and orange slices
whole fruit - oranges, plums, red apples, green apples, bananas and lemons
cling peaches
pear halves
dried cranberries
dried apricots
yogurt
vanilla and chocolate soft serve yogurt

We love both!!!

We do tend to favor the breakfast/brunch time....we've had more character interactions during that time....but anytime is a Good Time at Goofy's!!! The food & staff make this a MUST every trip for our family!!!

Have a great time!!

We're not really big breakfast type people so we tend to do dinner, but the one time we ate breakfast there it was pretty good. Dinner is decent but you're paying for the experience, not neccessarily the food, so keep that in mind and don't expect mind blowing, gourmet food. ;) If you do dinner, do a reservation for opening time. We've always had the best interaction then, vs. dinner at 6 or 7.
