We tried the dinner at Goofy's and really enjoyed it. Was wondering if Breakfast was just as good.

We thought breakfast was very good, but we liked the character interaction better at dinner.

I have not done the dinner at Goofy's since 1995 or 1996, but I know I prefer the breakfast/brunch food choices over the dinner food by a mile. But I think there may be a couple of extra characters on the loose at dinner, so that is a selling point. It may be time for me to make a return trip for dinner, but I like the breakfast stuff so much that I feel comfortable spending that kind of money over and over again on it (every single DLR trip). I am reluctant to do it again for the dinner, which I wasn't that enthused about years ago. Spending $32 - $37 on something I KNOW I will enjoy is okay, but spending it and not being sure is kind of a gamble. It's not that the dinner choices weren't vast - because they were - but I was just in a finicky mood or something and nothign appealed to me. Certainly that is a personal preference, and other people may LOVE the selections for dinner.

Breakfast has, of course, the creme brulee French toast, the Mickey-shaped cobbler, the yummy croissants, banana crepes, DELICIOUS bacon, DELICIOUS fruit, yummy eggs and potatoes, mini-muffins, lox, bagels, pastries, waffles...on and on and on....There is so much to choose from I can't even begin to remember it all - although I recall they have pizza and chicken at breakfast too!

Breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen is the best! You must try the yummy creme brulee French toast!

The link can be found over at Disabilities board. The food either way it ok because it is buffet but for me I rather have the breakfast. I got special waffles and pancakes with strawberry roses and grapes, I have celiac, nyah nyah, I am special diet.:lmao:

It is nice to have fresh omelettes with goodies added. How about a two egg omelette made in front of you fluffy with stringy cheese and your choice of fixings. Heck you can ask them to add rasins to your omelet. They had the best soft serve ice cream also. I am not supposed to do a lot of things but for me it was just special to have a breakfast. I can go to parks and hotels for a meal like steak but where can you get a filling meal that has breakfast foods.

Can someone take me back tomorrow please. I can get you free parking for breakfast. Wait, ducks Mary Jo,:rolleyes1 the best part is that you can park in the downtown disney parking for free with three hour validation and they do not even man the booths until after noon. I think you can get the hotel parking validated, not sure. Brunch/Breakfast has a 90 minute limit so you cannot come at 8 am and stay until noon to dance with Chip and graze for 4 hours.

Definitely Breakfast, they have French Toast Cream Brulee that is well worth going for breakfast!!!!!!!

For me, dinner. I just find it hard to justify $30 for breakfast, but $35 is reasonable for dinner. (I think those are the approximate adult prices with 10% AAA, Disney Visa, or AP discount.)

The Creme Brule French Toast does sound tempting though.

We made ressies for dinner next month and the prices are $44 for dinner adults and $19 for dinner kids.

That is the peak season rate, it sounds like. The prices are slightly lower in the off-peak season. If you have Deluxe AP's or AAA, you get 10% off. If you have a Premium AP, you get 15% off. It comes in really handy. That is another reason why I prefer the breakfast over dinner - it is cheaper!! I need to load up on protein in the morning, so that's yet another reason why the breakfast is more important overall and why the Goofy's breakfast buffet is worth the lofty sum to me. By dinner time, I am not that famished anymore, and don't need to stuff myself, so $37 (after my AP discount) for dinner is not sensible for me. But lots of others make dinner the most important meal, so it all really depends on everyone's personal preferences. habits and choices!

my tip would be that if you go for brunch/breakfast book for a later morning time. We had 11:00 reservation and we ended up being one of the last tables in the restaurant (they close at noon till supper time) and all the characters came to our area (all the other tables that were occupied were around us) and hung out for at least 10-15 minutes just fooling around with the kids, putting on a dance off show, etc it was the highlight of our trip!!

Thank you for mentioning that. I was going to ask on a different thread if anyone had shown up early for PSs at Goofy's before and if it was a problem. Of course, it may be at some times, but I'm glad to know that there is also a chance that it would be perfectly fine.
