Seriously, that Barnstormer is a highlight of our trip! It really is fun - I'm a coaster nut and I like it!I must be in the minority: my then three year old rode and found it very jerky. She hit her head on the side of the car and cried for quite a while. She has been on it when we returned to Disney, but would only ride it once. My seven year old loved it when he was her age and would want to ride it again and again.

Now you are making me nervous......
we plan on having our arm around our son if he decides he wants to ride it.
DH is super protective, so if ds decideds he wants to try it, he will probably be the one riding it with him and will probably have him in a great big bear hug or something knowing him........![]()
Another poster asked the height requirement....it is 36 inches.
Only 281 more days!!!
She's doesn't like waiting for any rides and gets stressed because she thinks it will be scary and then once on the ride she has her hands in the air telling me to let go of her.
It's making me go a little gray!
Could a Daddy ride it with his daughter if Daddy is 6'8" tall?? Would he fit?
Your husband sounds like us! I put my arms around my kids and was so worried and they told me to "get off!" My dd was 2 when she rode it also but then again she is the kid who would probably ride RnR coaster. She's doesn't like waiting for any rides and gets stressed because she thinks it will be scary and then once on the ride she has her hands in the air telling me to let go of her.

When we went last Feb. my son was almost 2.5. He LOVED it!! In fact, if you ask him now what his favorite ride is he will say Goofy's Barnstormer. We rode it so many times, I lost count. At one point during late EMH we rode it 3 or 4 times in a row without getting off. BTW my DD5 liked it, though not as much as BTMRR. That was her favorite.
My son is pretty fearless of physical things (i.e. jumping or climbing) and we never had a problem with any ride that he could see beforehand. Now, dark or loud things (think Mickey's Philarmagic or The Little Mermaid at MGM) he covered his ears and sometimes his eyes. I think, just know your child and listen to them and their fears. You will have a blast!!!

TIPS & FUN FACTS
The Barnstormer at Goofy's Wiseacre Farm is designed for adults and children to be able to ride together. Children must be at least three years old to ride.
Traci, I just asked her if she wanted to ride it when we go to Disney on spring break and she said yes, so I don't think we've scarred her for life against it. I'm not sure what happened, she just sort of knocked her head against the side of the car: it never happened with our son.
