I think I remember seeing a post here saying that you weren't allowed to have irons in your room (fire hazard or something). I think that a communal iron is available in the laundry room?

Irons are available in the laundry rooms. Most people recommend doing your ironing at some off peak time--meaning don't try to get to the iron just before formal night.

Irons are not allowed in the staterooms--fire hazard.

I try to iron as little as possible EVER. Don't think anyone minds a few wrinkles when we all know the clothes had to be packed.

There are irons in the laundry rooms. Do try to do any ironing in the morning- by midafternoon can be a line out the door.

Try the Downey Wrinkle Releaser for some items like t-shirts and shorts etc.

I can understand why they don't want irons used in the staterooms...in the room on one of our previous cruises, there was an iron imprint scorched into the top of the dresser. I guess people don't realize just how dangerous a fire on a ship could be due to their negligence.

I went to the Disney site to try to find where the laundry rooms were and of course nothing was listed, so I checked your site and there was my answer. Thanks for all of your pictures and information! I sure have used it on many occasions. I can't wait!

Your site has pushed me to upgrade from a Cat 9 to a Cat 7. I'll tell you seeing the pictures have helped me decide.

I do have one (probably dumb) question about the snorkeling on CC. Is it safe? Is the area patrolled for shark and jellyfish, etc?
