My DD(8) has written a letter to Goofy on behalf of her brother (DS10). He has no idea she has done this. The letter is to Goofy asking him if there is any way he can find them near Goofy's Barnstormer in September and ride the ride with her brother. Goofy is DS's favorite character. She has even made an envelope addressed to "Goofy at Disney World" and placed a goofy sticker and soccer ball "stamp" on it. Now she is asking me how to get it to him.

This was such a sweet gesture on her part and I am trying to break it to her that it probably is not going to be possible for this to actually happen. Again, DS is unaware of her intentions.

My question is this...Is there any CMs ( or Goofys) that might could help me out by sending her a little note or something telling her how nice it is of her to think of her brother...

Is there an address for kids to correspond with their fav disney characters?

Thanks in advance.

They are only little for such a short time. :goofy:

Cute story...

Fake it...write your own letter from Goofy to your daughter telling her in
such a way he won't be there but glad they will be.
Maybe say because he's already scheduled to be somewhere else
or afriad of the Barnstormer because of what's happened in the past.
(telling her to look a the side of the barn as to what he means)

make the envelope look like it came from Goofy at MK and just place it in with
your daily mail at a time when your daughter might be the first to see it.

I can't answer your questions, but it might be a sweet idea to purchace and "hide" maybe a little stuffed Goofy in your bag with some candy and a card from Goofy saying he was sorry he couldn't make it.

Send the kids on the coaster, explain to a CM near by and have them hand your children Goofy's package.

Hopefully you will be able to see him, but my mom did something simmilar with Snow White when I was younger. I got off of Snow White's Scary Adventures, and a CM at the exit had a crown and a little note from "Snow" telling me she was sorry she missed me.

Fingers crossed for you!

I would ask at check in if since this is his first visit maybe the CM at the resort could get a "goofy" surprise for your son in the room sometime during your visit!

Usually if you tell them it is a first time visit they will ask what his favorite character is.

Check on these boards and see if you can find a "Fairy Godmailer". It is someone who will mail a postcard for WDW, addressed to you son. My wife has done this for people in the past and it is really special for the recipiant. Do a search...you never know! Good Luck!

Nice thought, would be cool if they did that. But I do think that's unlikely. Heck, who wouldn't like a personal meet and greet in their room with their favorite character, first timer or not.

I can even see the reaction now from here on the boards.
Half would be thrilled for you, the other half would be frustrated with Disney because they didn't that kind of special treatment. :lmao:

I don't think that that's what the poster meant. At check in you can request gift baskets and such for your room. It's possible to get one for a specific character. I've seen them in the past.

i agree w/the PP that you may have misunderstood the PPP (LOL)... when we went with friends we explained that it was their children's first trip and asked for any "specials" (we also had a HORRIBLE time at check-in, reservations screwed up, they had reserved two rooms, only one was available, etc) and one night during our trip we came back to the resort to find a balloon and card w/pic of the characters "signed" by them... it was sweet!
