Hello Fellow Wishers!

The Goofy Challenge is at 55% Full according to their site. Time to get registered. :goofy:

:cheer2:
CONGRATS!!!!!!!!
:cheer2:

Say Hi to the family!!! Wish I could have seen them again, I thought of them during the Half :goodvibes Hope the kids had a blast :beach:

Thanks Diane!!!!!

It was great to see you again. You in for Goofy next year?????

I'll tell everyone hello. Let everyone know I said hello your way.

Yup. I'm in for the Goofy. We didn't leave the room that Monday morning till the registration opened. I think we were close to wearing out the refresh button :rotfl:

Signed up and ready to go. Already hitting the gym and if this weather doesn't get a tad bit warmer I might have to learn to like running in the 20's. :crazy2: I guess that is why I now own a face mask and a really cool ear flap hat :joker: LOL 2 articles of clothing I never would have thought I'd buy.

Stay warm!!!!

I had to wait till I got home to register because their site wasn't playing nice with my iPhone. Grrr.

Glad I got in though.

Take Care in that state up north.....

Guess I had better sign up soon then, huh? :upsidedow Thanks for the update, Chris, I've been checking the marathon site, but never saw any percentages.

Chris ya think it is filling slower than last year????

Got off my but this morn and did a fat burner on the TM, the lowest grade was 4.5 % it was good.

Not sure if it's filling slower or if it's because they added slots. I have to think part of it is the price, part the economy. I mean $300 for a race a year away is hard to take. Especially when most don't know if they'll have a job or not.

Chris, Thanks for the update!

Krista, ya gotta sign up!

Scott, good for you getting in that ugly TM training.

OK I'm not smart enough to change the title, but the Goofy Challenge is now at 65% Full.

Better get moving. :goofy:

Krista,

You actually have to go to the Registration page then click on Register for it to show.

Good luck!
Chris

Chris,

While I appreciate the Coast to Coast medal I have to ask why we don't have an updated photo of you with the GOOFY medals?!?!? Get that photo updated! :cheer2:

Diane,

Ask and ye shall receive. I plan on buying that photo soon so I should have a little better quality. For some reason I have no photo's with all three medals on other than that one.

Chris

Chris, I made the change for ya this time. All you need to do is go to your original post, click edit then click on Go Advanced where the orignal post and title appear. You can make the change that way.

A few weeks ago, after talking on the phone with my dad and finding out that he had just gotten back from the world, my wife asked when we could go again. I said "How about roughly this time next year?" She said, "Okay, cool!" I said, "Great, I can do the marathon down there, too, this'll be awesome!"

So, I was on the fence as to whether to do just the marathon, or go all in for the Goofy. (By then, it won't be my first full, probably my third)

Seeing as it's filling up, I just went all in :)

In 2008 my DH ran the Goofy and that was his first marathon. I can't even imagine.....2009 he "just" ran the full. He says he will never run the goofy again....but I don't believe him.

I went on the disneyworldmarathon.com website and hit register button to find the percentages but I can't see it. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Kim!

When you are on the main Marathon Weekend page with the group photo of the people with Mickey and Minnie? On the right there is the bulletin board and there is a link to the registration. click that and it takes you right to the page with the percentages. If you are doing this then I'm not sure LOL

At first I was clicking on the Registration on the left and it brings up the races and their costs. Well at first I was only looking at that page. But when that page opens look to the left again and now beneath REGISTRATION there is 2 more links.. Register and charities. click that register and it also takes you to the percentage page and is where you get the links to actually register.

I hope this helps and your not having technical issues. I just now sometimes I am looking for an answer and there are links that I didn't even know about.

Also i hope you make sense of that above since I am soooo sleepy now that I don't know if I'm dreaming this or not :lmao: Have a good day and good luck with the Disney site. I keep watching the Princess to see if the waivers are loaded, they probably are, just not under a link i'm looking at LOL AND NO THE PRINCESS WAIVERS ARE NOT LOADED! i was kidding!!!

i'm off to bed with my wacky sense of humor :crazy2:

Thanks Diane. I found it. I was looking for they way they had it last year.....more than just a number.

Thanks for the help.
Kimm
