Does goofy always appear at Chef Micky's Character meals? We would like to do one, but the little one really likes Goofy. Also what time do you reccomend for the best breakfast time? Thank you for any advice in advance

He was there when we went last July and I'm pretty sure he's a regular at CHef Mickeys. We were there for dinner, not sure about breakfast.

He was there at dinner in May. I think he is a regular. We also ran into him alot with Max outside of Goofy's Barnstormer in Toontown.

I saw Goofy at Chef Mickey's at dinnertime in December. I believe he is a permanent fixture :)

As for the time, it really depends on your family's habits, where you are staying, and how you plan on getting there. Are you up at the crack of dawn, and able to drive to the Contemporary? Then an early seating may be best for you. If you are planning on taking Disney transport from another resort, you may want something later. If it's an early entry day at the MK, you may want to go there for an hour or two, and make a PS for 10:00.

Goofy was there in his Santa suit when we had breakfast at Chef Mickey's in December. It was alot of fun! We had a later seating (I think 9:30), it wasn't too crowded and there was plenty of delicious food. This was our day off from the parks so the later seating allowed us to not have the mad rush in the morning. Enjoy!

we stayed at the cr last oct and every time we stepped out of our room we saw goofy at chef mickeys. so i would have to say he is a perminent fixture there

Goofy is at Chef Mickey's but does not go table to table as the other characters do. He appears in the waiting area and is there for long periods of time for photo ops. Once he pulled me up out of the seat and danced across the floor, my family thought this was hysterical! He appears for breakfast and dinner.

We just had dinner at Chef Mickey's last week and Goofy was there and he did go table to table. Donald was the one who didn't go table to table. We also saw Goofy at Liberty Tree Tavern.

Last Sept, we saw Goofy (and Donald) walking around Chef Mickey's, along with a ton of others characters one day. The next day, when we were there, neither Goofy or Donald were there. As a matter of fact, the characters were pretty sparse in comparison. And none, either day, were in the lobby. I think it is just luck of the draw. We saw Goofy at Donald's Breakfast in the AK>

We saw Goofy for brunch at CM recently on Easter Sunday and last Spring at CM for breakfast. He stayed in the lobby. Never saw Donald there yet. As a matter of fact I was wondering if we would ever see him. Finally did just before we left for home at Animal Kingdom. Easter Goofy wasn't "himself" though not up to his usual antics. Chip and Dale though made up for it. My daughter's had a real blast with them.

If you want Goofy with all the time in the world go to Cape May Cafe breakfast at the YBC. We couldn't get him away from the table to eat! It would be good on your way to Epcot or MGM.

Goofy was there when we went for breakfast last July, but he did not go table to table. He stayed in the waiting/exit area for photos and signatures. If he didn't have anyone waiting in his line, he just acted, well, Goofy.

Goofy is one of my Son's favorate characters too, so I was excited for him when we walked up and saw Goofy there. To my surprise, DS wouldn't go near him and too great pains to avoid the other big critters that came to the table too. If your kids haven't experienced this before, you might want to prepare them for the fact that from toe to the top of his chef's hat, Goofy will be about 7-feet tall.

As far as time is concerned, there are several different schools of thought on that. I like saving Chef Mickey's for a non-park day. You aren't blowing a day on one of your hopper passes so you don't feel bad that you are spending time doing something that you could do without park admission. It seemed to work for us having a semi-late breakfast (9:10 AM) after a pretty late night at the parks. This allowed up to sleep a little later than normal. It also allowed us to skip having a real lunch while we saved up room to be total gluttons during our early PS at Boma's that night! :flower:

He was there last may for dinner as well as Donald who you never see anywhere

CM is always our first night dinner on each trip (except this one which will be Ohanas). I've always seen Goofy and Donald. Although Donald always stood at the greeting area for photo op's.

To echo another poster: if you want a LOT of Goofy, go to the Cape May Character Breakfast at the Beach Club. Goofy is the "star" there.

Goofy is a relatively easy character to find. He is always at Chef Mickey's, Liberty Tree Tavern, the Cape May Cafe (in beach gear--cute!) and outside of the Barnstormer.

We stayed in the tower at CR 2 years ago and Goofy was always there when we looked over our balcony. Looked like so much fun and we will find out when we go this November! Cant wait!! :flower:
