goodness gracious, has this happened to you?

You'll LOVE it!! Stayed there a week in 2003, in a 1 BR suite MK view. FAB!! We loved everything about it, and the staff is extremely proficient and personable. :goodvibes :wizard: You'll have a great time. ;)

Ahhhhhhh - Congrats on nabbing it & enjoy yourself! Have a drink for us that are back at our homes impatiently waiting for our time to go back "home." Can't wait to see how your trip goes. Please post when you get back. I found myself in this same situation last year. It was our first trip to WDW and I had booked CBR then because we'd have to do a king with a roll away since we can't do doubles (DH is "special needs"), we ended up booking standard at WL since it was not much more than CBR. Before I knew it I was on a split stay CL between AKL/WL. I have no regrets and since I'm so hooked - I made a trip to BWI CL in May on top of going back again in July. I'm splitting between CR 14th, AKL & BC! Not just regular CL rooms, but suites, suites, suites!!!!! :faint: I think I need help.... I must have missed my weekly meeting when I booked all this? :rotfl:

P.S. - I'm digging the new siggie! :rotfl:

You must stay a 2nd night. You'll regret not doing it once you get there. ::yes::

Yeah...I don't think you can catch the whole vibe/feel of the 14th floor unless you settle in for 2 nights!

C'mon, Nerdy Minnie...wheres that carefree party girl I have gotten to know and love? Don't let us down!!!!! :cool1:

A similar thing happened to me.. we went to disney a few summers ago on the fairytale package staying at All Star movies. We thought that it would be a once in a lifetime trip and couldn't pass up the deal. We loved disney so much that we decided to splurge a little a go this past january and stay at AKL. Well now we are booked for this coming December, what started out as being a standard view at WL is now Main Building Concierge at GF. I don't know how it happened. Must be some kind of glitch in the disney computers--hehe, or maybe I am just crazy. I keep thinking its disney and if i am going to splurge disney is the place to do it.

:rotfl:

how awesome, we're all so bad!

nerdyminnie still isnt being convinced for the 2nd night tho :(

You MUST try to stay a second night...as one night will pass in the blink of an eye. Also...be sure to request LATE check-out, as they are seemingly much more generous on the 14th floor than any other. We were given a 3 p.m.without hesitation. Due to the backed-up bellstand,we actually never left until close to 4! The Concierge attending the desk said it was "no problem" and there was no rush on our suite. We sat on the balcony...wishing we would have reserved more time!! :confused3 No matter how long you stay on this floor...it's never enough!!

eeyore81~ :lovestruc LOVE your story..."from the once~in~a~lifetime visit, to the CONCIERGE @ the most SPLENDID Disney property!!!" :wizard: :cloud9:
Once you experience concierge @ GF...there's NO RETURNING to the ALLSTARS!! :confused3 :teeth:

Last time I called I was ready to upgrade to from GVC to LVC at the Poly, but none available. So I just extended the trip by a day.
