Goodings supermarket near dtd

Please could any one tell me how to get to goodings supermarket near down town disney? I will be walking. Thanks

If your coming out of DTD marketplace turn right and follow the walkway all the way along. Its about 15/20mins depending on your pace.

The last time i went in though it was half empty and it is very expensive. There is a Winn dixie a little further along thats much cheaper or if your only after a few bits (like sodaa/beers etc) then the hess garage opposite DTD is quite cheap.

it's quite a long walk from DTD especially if its hot...you can catch the Lynx 50 bus outside DTD and it will drop you near the entrance of the Crossroads...but as PP said its really expensive in there and the gas station across from DTD is a far better option for essentials.

Agreed with the previous posters.

Goodings is a tourist trap. We found that some items were even more expensive than at our Disney Resort.

It really depends on what you need (Goodings has a limited selection of items anyway)

If you intend on going on foot, I doubt you will buy much, so the Hess station (or even the 7-eleven at Crossroads) *could* do the trick (even your disney hotel)

and if you have a larger set of items to buy, you could always have a look at Garden Grocers for resort delivery. Even with the delivery fees, it could end up being cheaper than Goodings without the need for a long hike in the Florida Heat.

Door to door from World of Disney (DTD) to Goodings, it's a good 1.4 miles (2400 yards). With the average speed of a casual walker, that's 30 minutes one way.

For the same time and money, you could even get a cab and shop at walmart down the road on 535 ...
