I have seen a few people post that they just walk to this grocery store? Where is it, and what is it by? How long, time wise does it take to get there? Do you walk along the highway? Seriously? Sorry I am only a little familiar with the roads around Disney property. :confused3 ?? I have only been there once. Thanks for any help. I was thinking of using a grocery service, but I thought that I would ask anyway, that way if we walked, I could pick out my fruit and veggies. Thanks again :thumbsup2

It is in the shopping center across 535 from the Downtown Disney entrance. If you are in one of the DD area hotels (the non-Disney ones) it is super easy to walk there. If you are in a Disney hotel, you would have to catch a bus to DD then walk the mile or so to the shopping center.

Feel free to PM me if you need specifics.

I've never noticed any posts where people say they walk to Goodings, but I'll bet they only try it once. From Downtown Disney its nearly a mile walk - that's not bad, but the return trip, when loaded down with your purchases, would be a killer.

It is easy to get to but VERY expensive. The prices in the hotel lobby stores are cheaper....I am NOT exagerating!!! Also, we got pasta with bugs in it from Goodings. We will never go there again!

I'll agree it is a long walk..and expensive...if you decide to take a cab there is a winn dixie two blocks down (a lot cheaper)

Goodings is a very nice grocery store, but very very expensive. My brother said

"we all better get a thrill out of those 4 rolls of toilet paper cuz they cost me more then 1.00 per roll".

Bugs do happen and like Laceemouse if it happened to me I would also not return.

It is close by but I personally think you ae crazy if you plan on walking. What a waste of a day in Disney. Take a cab to any publics, winn dixie, super walmart, super target what ever it will be quicker and less $ I bet.

This is a good point. It is 2 blocks north and the cheaper prices will make up for the difference in cab fare.

If you decide to do this there are always cabs waiting at DTD.

Thanks for all the feed back. We can't take a cab because there is no way I am hauling two big car seats around the airport just for a quick trip to a grocery store :rotfl2: Thanks again :thumbsup2 I guess delivery is the best bet.
