Marilyn Monroe passed away 60 years ago today.
She had the "it factor" to the nth degree!
On a side note,even knowing the backstory of why it was written and even knowing that "Candle in the Wind,1997" is arguably the most successful song ever,it still seems "disrespectful" to me that Marilyn and Diana have to "share" a song!
I have always thought that Elton and Bernie should have written a COMPLETELY new song for Diana.
But that is probably just me.
