I'm known for this IRL. One of my pet peeves is leaving a party and when you say goodbye to other guests, they either try to talk you into staying, or they call you a party pooper and get mad.

So I just leave - no announcement, no hassle. Out the door I go and it works every time.

Yabut your way, there is no drama involved...

at least if you announce it, everyone will notice and then they can try to convince you to stay!

If you just walk away, it's just not near as fun for those who would have tried to stop you in the first place
