I know he's still got 1 more show, but I wanted to say this in advance, so anybody that wants to can say "goodbye and good luck", and he'll have time to read it.

I said it before when you first announced you were leaving, and I'll say it again - I certainly hope your young lady is worthy of you, but, I have the feeling if you picked her, and are moving that far, she is, so I approve. Aaaaah - young love, I remember that. You definitely brought something unique to the table, and I found myself nodding my head in agreement many times to something you said, even if you didn't agree with "the popular opinion". Your reasons were always well thought out, and I respected that, and the fact that you DID have your own opinion, and weren't afraid to reasonably state it. You also have an awesome smile, and are easy for an old lady to look at, for a young Junior WhipperSnapper.

Best of luck in your future, and I hope you'll continue to write the articles I've come to look forward to, and enjoy, from you!!

We just got past Pete calling him Junior and he's gone.

I can see how working for the Dis is a dream for people, but he is at the time of life when he can just pick up and be with his girl. That is a small window in your life and he needed to jump on it. Maybe I'll be stuck in an airport in Salt Lake City one day and see him on the local news (as an anchor, not in a story).

I am not certain Steve, but I believe there is an internet now that allows you to put messages and even videos onto my computer. There's even talk of video phone calls like on The Jetsons. If this is true you really should look into that. I've loved the stories and information you have sent out and hope you continue to do so.
