goodbye chicken strips

I heard about the change of chicken strips at the Columbia Harbour House...i'm so bummed! they were my favorite i know that these are now chicken nuggets...but does anyone know where or if you can still get strips anywhere?

According to the Disney official who phoned me in response to my email inquiry about this very subject....there will be no more chicken strips served at WDW.

I am so ticked off about this it's not even funny. Of course they kept the price the same.

The Disney official then told me that she hoped the change wouldn't adversely affect my vacation. I told her it would.

Nope, gone everywhere. Once the on hand stock is used up all the various food places will Be switching to the nuggets.

I had the nuggets last week and they were like the strips only smaller. I don't remember the number I got but it was enough to fill me up for lunch.

I was at the Studios last week. I got "nuggets" for lunch by Tower of Terror. I am NOT a processed chicken eater and specifically asked what they were and why they didn't have strips anymore.

What I got was chicken strips, exactly like they used to be, but more "cut up" so each strip would be like 3 nuggets.

The day the only choice Dis has is "nuggets" and I will no longer be eating lunch in the park.

They are called "nuggets" but they're not the processed, McDonald's style nuggets. They're exactly the same as the strips, only smaller. And instead of three strips, you get six nuggets.

My brother is really upset about the loss of the strips. That was always his favorite. DH and I liked them too but there are other things we'll eat instead. It's sad that they switched to the smaller nuggets but didn't cut the price. Oh well.

my DS ate a lot of these on every trip we have taken including the last one. The new "nuggets" are not nuggets in the sense of McD's or other fast food restaurants. They are just like the strips only shorter and the portion did not seem any smaller than in the past. They were very good and I do not even normally like chicken strips. I don't think you will be disappointed. But do make sure you get the adults nuggets - the chicken nuggets off the kids menus are processed "fast food" type nuggets. However DS liked those as well.
