Good Wishes spot if you’re skipping Spectromagic

Because of limited time and teenagers’ interest, we are skipping Spectromagic. We want to use the parade time to catch a few more rides. The problem is that I still MUST see Wishes. I’m sure that most people pick the prime spots to see both before the parade. Has anyone found a good Wishes spot that the parade watchers didn’t grab first?

My favorite spot is behind the Christmas shop in Liberty Square. Usually very quiet and you almost always can snag a seat because there are benches as well as the stone walls. I've also heard that anywhere in Mickey's Toontown is usally deserted. Although I hears it's also very loud.

This is exactly the spot we accidentally found on our last trip. There was nobody there :cool1: . It was great for the fireworks themselves, but if you need/want to see the fireworks from the front of the castle, you can't really see it from there.

When I was there last week, we didn't want to sit around and save a spot for Wishes, so at 8:45(Wishes was at 9:00), we walked down the middle of Main Street near the bakery and just stood in the middle of the road right in front of the castle. We did have to stay to one side as there was a CM trying to keep a path open for departing guests. It was an awesome location as everything is above you. I was thrilled my twin sister finally got to see Tink and the great fireworks. It was my 3rd time seeing Wishes and to me this is what Disney is all about!
