Good Video Game Magazine?

We've subscribed to Nintendo Power on and off over the years as we've always been a nintendo only family. We've had gameboys, DS, N64, gamecube and wii.

Well this year we're branching out into Xbox for DS15 and DH. Both are very interested and excited but know nothing other than what their friends have told them.

So I thought it might be fun to get a gaming magazine. But I don't want it to be worthless junk.

I've found EGM and @gamer so far and don't know if they're any good or if other gaming magazines are better.

Any input?

I want to say that we get Game Informer. Last summer I paid the yearly membership fee at Game Stop and it was included.
