Hey,

So we are looking into a twin bed for DD4 but it needs to be something that can double as a dresser because her room is SOOOO small! We are leaning towards Gothic Cabinet Craft which has a 6 drawer storage bed but the cost including finish and delivery will be over $600! (My Mom is helping though.) Just wondered if anyone has other suggestions. Thanks.

We got DD a bookcase bed from Broyhill, it has two large drawers on each side of the bed. White with flowers and now she wants a day bed so I'm trying to sell it, too bad you don't live closer.

I was going to suggest Gothic Cabinet, until I read the rest of your post. :goodvibes

I have one of their beds for my DS. I have the one that has 2 drawers at the bottom. I really like it.

Craigslist? We got DS one for $250, and bought a new mattress. $600 is WAY too much for a bed that she probably won't want to use until she is 18 and moves out.

Now that he is older I wish we had gotten him a loft bed. They are much cheaper and you can put a traditional dresser or desk underneath. His room is small and he doesn't really have room for a desk and he wants one. With a loft we could have put it underneath.

I also suggest the loft bed. It let's u put a dresser and or desk ect under it and frees up floor space. We bought our boys a double loft. So under one of them is their air hockey table and under the other is a dresser and desk. My sister bought her son a loft bed from ikea and just has her dh saw some if the bottom of the legs off to make it not so high but his dresser still fits under it.

i bought my ds a bed from ikea that has 2 fairly large drawers underneath, but i dont think i would work well to be the only dresser in the room (unless maybe you got some dividers to put inside?) it was about $150.

when i was looking at bunk beds for my dd's i saw some nice loft beds on walmart.com. i cant remember the prices of the top of my head, but there were a lot suitable for a younger child and i think most of the prices were reasonable. i ended up getting their bunks from there and i am pleased with the quality thus far, we have had them for about a month now.

good luck!
