Many of the recommendations out here are accurate, but many come with a personal bias (especially the 'favorite' or 'least favorite' posts!). But for the most part, folks are trying to help folks. Occasionally, inaccurate info is shared, though - I know it for a fact, because I've posted inaccurate information a few times and had to correct it and learn from it!!

Recommendations and Information are quite different.

Your poll is asking about recommendations which comes with a lot of room for personal preferences and cannot truly be measured.

Recommendations are based on personal experiences and personal thoughts which means they could differ from person to person yet still be accurate to the person responding. (e.g. When is the best time to visit WDW?)

Information is factual and we strive on DISboards to provide accurate information. (e.g. What time does MK open today?)

Your poll is asking about recommendations which truly cannot be measured.

A good example of a 'recommendations' thread in action is this one that is active right now! Answers are all over the board as they're based on personal experiences. There is no 'right' or 'wrong' answer to what the person asked.
