Well this is my first attempt at a trip report! I see from all the catchy titles and great photo's that this might be a bit of a let down. I promised to come back with lots of pictures but now that I am back (and now wearing my glasses) I see that most of my pictures are blurred and I didn't really take that many. Hopefully this means our trip report won't be too long, but I can't promise it won't be boring - :rotfl: well, you be the judge!

Day 1 Jan 22; We arrived at MCO 10 minutes early (yeah Continental). We figured out how to get from Concourse A to Concourse B (on the tram) and headed off to catch the Magic Express. Our airline ETA was 6:15 and my hope was to arrive at the Polynesian by 7:30. Since we arrived early we were in the ME bus loading line by 6:20. We were the first on the bus, so waited almost 50 minutes before the bus left. We arrived at the Poly (after the ME dropped of GF guests) around 7:50.

See I warned you about the bad photos:rotfl2: !
When we arrived at the Polynesian and once we stepped off the bus, we informed them that we were concierge guests, but they directed us inside. I knew from the dis boards that this was incorrect, so once inside I asked the bell desk to drive us to the Hawaii Building. It was now 8:00 p.m and I was anxious to make that darn 7:55 ADR at O'hanas. I was able to get someone to drive us on a cart to the Hawaii Building and they took us immediately to our room, without checking in!. This is what we found waiting for us in our room, ah the good life

.
We then went downstairs to the concierge check in desk and Patrick issued us our keys to the world, called O'hanas and let them know we were running late. All was well. We had a delicious meal at O'hanas. Sorry no pictures. Especially liked the shrimp, salad and bread pudding. Since it is all you can eat we "went to town". It can be a bit noisy in the restaurant, but the service was great and the Mai Tai I had helped put me in a better mood!

Day 2 Jan 23, Magic Kingdom day. Our plan was to get up eat the continental breakfast at the lounge, then make rope drop by 9. Since I was traveling solo with my 2 kids ages 8 & 13, I figured it would be easy right? Wrong, couldn't get my teenager up that morning. So me and my DD slipped out ahd had breakfast. Here is what we saw from our lake view room

Yeah, I know we were super lucky to get this view. Still pinching myself - and pinching my teenager trying to get him to wake up. Lucky for us we were able to slip onto the boat from the Poly to MK and it was about a 10 minute ride. Here's a picuture with the boat captain. The weather that morning was in the high 60's

We arrived at MK around 9:30 and headed directly for Dumbo following the Unofficial Guide's Touring Plan. The wait was only about 15 minutes. Here is my DD on her first WDW ride along with my sleepy headed teenager.

We had a great day at MK. Between 9:30 and 12:30 we rode Dumbo, Peter Pan, Snow Whites Scary Adventure, Winnie the Pooh, The Carousel then heand to adventure land and rode POC, BTMR and Splash Mountain. Yes we got wet! The kids were tired so we headed out of the park to the Monorail to eat a qs lunch at the Contemporary resort. It was good! Then went back to the Poly to swim!

After a relaxing afternoon at the pool, we headed back to Mk for our dinner at the Crystal Palace. It was a bit more crowded at the park, but we managed to squeeze in the haunted mansion before our 7:00 ADR

Dinner at the CP was good, plenty to eat - again!

We stepped outside just in time to see the fireworks - here's my favorite photo (see blurriness counts for something)

Day 3 Jan 24 EP Today we went to EPCOT. Again, wanted to get there early but couldn't get my teenager to wake up :confused3 So DD and I took a walk around the Polynesian and I got a real latte from the Kona Cafe. It was really good and the best coffee I had all week. FYI the "free" coffee machine in the club lounge was nice, but they use Nescafe not real coffee:crazy2: ! Here are some more pictures of the Poly

I also made the mistake of letting DS swim to pass the time waiting for DS to wake-up. Big, big mistake, as I couldn't get her out of the pool. We didn't leave until 11:30 am, so much for rope drop:sad2: . Once there we immediately went to the fast pass lane for Soaring and lucky us there were still FP's available. We rode The land, Nemo, Soaring, Imagination Station, we also ate at Coral Reef. Sorry I didn't take any food pictures. But it was great. We had ADR;s at 11:50 right before the lunch rush so our service was great and we were out of there in an hour. I ordered the Mahi, DS ordered the Catfish, both very high quality and one of our best meals. Since we were on the DDP, our server recommended non-alchoholic smoothies which were good but too sweet. DD ordered mac n cheese, with lobster soup. It was only ok, but glad I could taste it. We went back to the room around 4:30 p.m. Since I had to pick up the Alamo car rental which I got for the weekend rate of $10.00 a night - but it had to be returned by Monday. Actually, I didn't use it but twice, but for the price it was nice! Yes, I found out about this car deal through the dis boards:cheer2: ! We went back to the room had "happy hour" at the lounge and then I went to pick up the car from the car care center. Alamo picked me up right at the Poly - too easy! When I got back, DD was in the middle of a crying melt down and didn't want to go with us back to Epcot. So, we walked down to the concierge desk and Michael set her up for a night at the Neverland Club! Then DS and I walked to the Trans. Center and took the Monorail to Epcot. We were able to ride both "space" rides - Mission Space and the Space Ship ride, both fun but the extreme ride was, well extreme! Then, it was a long a#@# walk to Teppan Edo. It looks much closer when you first start out. We were 15 minutes late, but they were still able to seat us - within 10 minutes. We each ordered the steak and shrimp combo. The man to the right of me upgraded his steak to filet, so we did the same. It cost us 7.50 each to do this, but we gladly paid out of pocket. Overall the meal was good and our chef was funny. It was nice to have one on one time with my DS.

Unfortunately we were the last to get our bill, so we wound up missing Illuminations. The other people at our table were smarter and requested their bills early on. Hmmm, we were the only ones with the DDP, so I wonder if this is why we were last? Afterwards we went back to the Poly, picked up DD (she had a great time) and then we watched the 2nd POC movie which we had checked out from the concierge desk the day before. We also took some of the desserts and a glass of wine back to the room. It was a great night!

I will get on later and try to add our last few days. ::yes::

You looked so cold in the morning on your first day,
and then you said you went swimming in the afternoon.
It must have really warmed up.
Thanks for showing your pictures.
