I'd say definitely a good trade. Those flip hats were on sale FOREVER and to get three retired items for it (even if they were just for sale recently) is a great trade!

And the castle props are under the furniture section of the Emporium, under a new "Royal" tab, but you have to actually be in the Emporium to get that tab to appear. You can't just click the shop button.
