Good time to sell DVC?

About two months ago I started the process of selling three small contracts through the Timeshare store. All three are sold, one has closed. During that time, the incentives to buy through Disney have increased. The rumors of additional resort, CRV and GCV, have gotten even louder and I am excited about those two resorts. There has been a lot of discussion of possible limitations on owners who purchase through resale. Also the stock market has become a roller coaster ride.

I still have five contracts left. Is this a good time to sell?

I guess it depends why your selling. We thought the current incentive was to good to pass up so we added on 100 SSR, got the double developer points, got to bank 100 2006 SSR that come with the purchase and have 100 2007 SSR to boot. SO 400 points!! Already made ressies for upcoming trips!

Then to off set the cost of the new purchase we sold 100 Vero Beach points thus offsetting the addon of SSR fees and lowering our up coming dues by $100 or so because SSR is about a dollar less per point on maintainence fee.

VB is not selling as high as the onsite resorts or HH. But, we thought it was worth it plus we pick up extra years with the SSR that my chidren will enjoy unless I live to be 100 years old.
