good time to go

Can anyone tell me a good time to plan a trip to wdw in May? Is there a "slow" time period?

I'd suggest the earlier part of May will see a lighter crowd. It's not a "slow" time period, though.

I would just stay away from Memorial Day Weekend and you'll be good. Have fun!

We went the first week of May in 2010 and I found the crowds to be completely reasonable to me. (It was 95 degrees, which I did NOT find completely reasonable, but that's why I go in April or October now. )

Southern schools get out in mid-late May and SWW kick in.

We have been the week before Memorial day and the week of and I find either very manageable! Not all schools are out yet! We leave May 19th and I can't wait!!! Excited for the 24 hour party even though it will be a mad house that day and night! That is part of the fun!

I went once in May. Memorial Day week. VERY crowded, especially MK. Won't do that week again. I'd go either the first or second week. Good luck!
