On this cruise we are not gong to to Palos or the Spa so we don't need to get there too early , so I'm just wondering what a good time might be to arrive to miss that initial rush onto the ship and still be able to enjoy lunch and a look around before the lifeboat drill. Having asked though....the excitement will still probably get the best of me and we'll end up getting there early!!

On our 7 day last November we didn't arrive at the port until around 1:00 PM, and we still were able to get reservations at Palo's. The line to check in was nothing and the security line, even though it looked long, took only 10 minutes or so. Anita.

Thanks! If we do that we may even be able to go to one of the Parks before we head over to the Port...or just relax a bit at the hotel.

we were on the july 4th wonder cruise (3 days)...
though we arrived very early and would do that again, we didn't bother making spa reservations until much later in the day and had no problem getting reservations for a massage on castaway cay (in fact, you could still get a massage appt at the cabanas themselves.....they weren't fully booked)....

We took our time, went to breakfast at the Wilderness lodge and headed over a little after 11am. We arrived at the port around 12:30pm and it was perfect. No one really waiting inside, as the rush had already boarded. Maybe 2 people in line in front of us checking in. Then the line to actually board took about 5 minutes. We also had no problem making our reservations, and even changing our dining time.

So enjoy that pool or theme park, relax, and get ready for a great time!!:)
