Good Ticket Prices ... for Canadian

Going to Disneyland at the end of Feb, was hoping for 24hrs but that doesn't look like it's happening. Trying to find the best price for a 5 day Park Hopper. So far Costco has provided the best pricing, but not Park Hopper. The exchange rate is not helping matters. Any suggestions?

I always prefer to buy from somewhere that charges in CAD instead of USD. Flightcentre and expedia.ca are the two I've used when I haven't had enough airmiles.

We bought our 5 day PH from Flight Centre for $414 CAD each, which saved us about $35 per ticket compared to buying them direct through Disney in USD. The exchange fees for banks/credit cards are so high that I wanted to pay in CAD. I also wanted to buy them sooner than later as the dollar appears to be headed south as well. :(

The only downside is with FC vouchers you have to exchange them for tickets at the ticket booth - you cannot take them directly to the park entry gates like you can with eTickets sold directly through Disney. I think the savings are worth it though.

Oh, and FC vouchers are 100% refundable - so if your plans change you can get a refund.

Where you able to purchase them online? Or did you have to go into a store?

I bought my tickets from ares travel with the mousavers discount link. You pay in USD and they are vouchers.

Check Expedia.ca too! It looks like straight exchange rate in Cad$ and it was the same as the gate price. They email vouchers which need to be exchanged at the ticket booth.

I checked around some more just to see if I could find a better deal and cancel what I purchased:

For 5 day adult PH, using exchange rate of 1.42 which is likely low after what happened today! The flight centre might be different when you call - it was a few dollars less than the posted price when I called, but it will fluctuate as I am sure does expedia, based on current exchange rates.

ares travel: $297 USD = $421 CAD
expedia.ca: $438 CAD
flight centre: $417 CAD
local AMA travel (CAA): $299 USD = $425 CAD

and of course direct from Disney: $315 USD = $447 CAD

Does FC sell annual passes too, or would I buy a PH from them and then upgrade at the ticket booth?

thanks for all the help ... overall not a lot of savings

No, I have never seen significant savings on DLR passes unless you are with a convention or some other event where discounted tickets are being offered. To save around $30 a ticket is about as good as it gets...

I haven't priced them out recently, but you can buy passes from CAA (auto club). I am fairly certain we paid in CAD.
