I have been having kidney problems the last month or so. The doctor wants to do a series of x-rays tomorrow where they first inject iodine in my vein, and then do several pictures as it makes my way thru the urinary tract. He suspects I may have a premature closing of the tube that runs from my right kidney to my bladder; since I'm only 32, this is not good and could lead to kidney failure if it wasn't detected. He said there is a relatively simple surgery to correct it. So, if you could just keep me in your thoughts tomorrow AM, I would much appreciate it! Thanks all!

Good luck tomorrow!!! My DD at the age of 4 months had almost the same procedure done - a Voiding Cystogram - and the procedure went well. You will be in my thoughts - God Bless!!

My dd has had 2 of those voiding cystograms that Slo mentioned. See my dd was diagnosed about a year or so ago with a Level 2 Kidney reflux and we have had to go through the cystograms and ultrsounds as well as her having to take medication everyday.

As of Monday we were told that she no longer has the reflux and doesn't need to take the medication. yeah



Anyway I am telling you this because there are so many easy fixes to these types of problems and there are some really great doctors too.

I will say extra prayers for you and just remember that you might think you have it bad but someone else has it worse, I realize now that although I had to watch my baby endure these tests there are other people that watch there children go through so much more everyday!!!

Thanks so much everyone! The procedure went fine- a little boring and I'm tired from getting up before dawn. The doctor will let me know next week if there is anything wrong! Thanks again!
