Good sunscreen for rosacea

Any recommendations? I would even consider a moisturizer, with a hint of color, SPF 30 or so. Looking for one that isn't going to clog my pores and make my condition worse.

For those of you who take an oral antibiotic, can you tell me what you take, what dosage and how often. I had an infected tooth and had to take penicillin for a week before the tooth could be removed. My skin looked great!

I personally don't have rosacea but my DH does. He uses a neutrogena sun screen. It is NOT waterproof tho, so he is very careful around the pool and such. He also takes Oracea 100 mg. He takes it once a day in the morning. It has definitely helped his skin. I think it is a low dose of doxycycline.

I have rosacea and I have a hard time with sunscreen on my face so I use my bare escentuals mineral foundation as my sunscreen.It has an spf of 15 and I reappy if I am out in the strong sun like at Disney after a few hrs if needed.It works great for me-it doesn't irratate me and I don't burn.I use a topical prescription cream called Finacea and have been for a few years and it has stopped all the painful bumps and scalliness.I have never tried an oral med-my dermatoligist prescribed the cream and it worked so I haven't used anything else.

I use Steiner products for my skin. They have really made my skin less red.

I use 2 of their sunscreens a 15 and a 30. They do not make my skin feel like it is on fire! They were really well. The expense is worth it to me.

I used to have Rosacea very bad. It looked like someone had hot oil on there hands and flicked me in the face with it. I started skiing and was really concerned with how the wind and cold would affect my face. A friend of mine had some Lubriderm - with the purple top - that I put on my face. I couldn't believe how after a few days of using it how different my face not only looked - but felt. My cheeks used to be hard and crusty - now they are the same as the rest of my face. I am rarely ever blotchy. I have large pores and was always concerned about moisturizers making me break out. I have no problem with this Lubriderm. It also has SPF in it. I use it 3-4 times a day ALL OVER my face and it never feels greasy. I use it in Disney and the SPF is very effective. I have to say this lotion truly helped so much bc I used to be so embarrassed of my face and the blotches. Not sure if it will be the same for everyone - but for me it was amazing. It's the purple top - Daily Moisturizer with SPF. I have a bottle here on my desk at work, some in a small bottle in my purse, in my house, my travel bags, lol. It's almost $7 for a bottle - but it lasts forever! Good luck

I dont have rosecea but i have severe eczema as well as chemical allergies. The only sunscreen I can use is vanicream sunscreen. It works amazingly well but it is expensive. Its about $15 for a 4 oz tube.
