Good sundaes?

Where are the best place for a sundae? My parents really love them, and was thinking about beaches and cream. However, don't really want to have to make our way to an ADR for sundaes. Are there many places in the parks to get them? Will they have a variety or just a plain one (as in something like the brownie sundae at beaches)? Have been a few times and never really pay attention. Quick search I've found Hollywood scoops at HS, but not much else.

the "plaza ice cream sundae" (at the plaza ice cream parlor in the magic kingdom) is yummy and the last time we were there it counted as a 'snack' on the dining plan....
it comes with Hot Fudge, Whipped Cream, and a Cherry served in a freshly made Waffle Bowl with your choice of two hand-scoops of Ice Cream..
it's a snack 'best buy' if it still qualifies...and it's yummy!!!

Ghirardehlli in Disney Springs has the most amazing hot fudge brownie sundae that's to die for. A must do for us on every Disney trip.

Beaches and Cream has a take out window with sundaes. They don't have everything they have inside but you wouldn't need an ADR which is a plus.

Thanks for your thoughts everyone. At least we have a couple options. Ghiradelli's looks awesome, I'm sure they'd love that. I'll show them these, and see what they think.

My family got the brownie sundae at Splitsville and enjoyed it. You could just go in and sit and order sundaes!

I know you're not looking for a place that requires an ADR, but if you're in the area of Via Napoli and they're taking walk-ups, I highly recommend the Coppa di Brutti ma Buoni ("Ugly But Good") sundae. It has vanilla gelato, with Amarena cherries, and a crumbly cookie!

For location - Plaza Ice Cream - looking at the Castle.

Epcot - Gelato place in France is excellent. Sitting in that alley is charming. Grab some Champagne too.

Disney Springs:
-- Vivoli il Gelato is superb.
-- Ghiradelli has fantastic chocolate concoctions.
-- Ample Hill & Sprinkles offer even more choices.
-- And some folks prefer the fewer ingredients of Haagen Daz.

Boardwalk:
-- If you can get a reservation at Beaches & Cream, it's kitschy, but if ADR is not available.....nearby is......

Dolphin:
-- Can't go wrong with small batch ice cream at the Fountain.

But my next try for a sundae is that Ooey-gooey Butter Cake sundae at the new place on the Boardwalk - Ample Hill Creamery? Something like that!!
