Good spots for Christmas pictures at the world?

Our daughter will be 13 months old when we go to WDW 12/7-12/13. I was thinking about taking a Christmas card picture during the trip since it would be unique.

Has anyone done this before, and can you recommend good spots for Christmas card photos? I'm bringing her holiday dress along, and plan to get a photo of just her. Last year we did the whole family and it was so stressful coordinating everyone, so this year I'd like the focus just on her.

Thanks for any tips!

There are hundreds of places to take a great Christmas picture. We did this several years ago when we went in December. There are Santas from all around the world in the WS in Epcot. The Santa at the American pavillion is very realistic looking and you can take a picture with him. Also, all the hotels are beautifully decorated and would make a great backdrop.

We used a picture with Goofy (who was dressed in his Holiday finest). We took the picture in Epcot. BTW all the characters on the double decker bus were dressed in Holiday attire. Pick a favorite and strike a pose!

My favorite picture was one that we took in DTD. There was a display that the kids could play on. It looked like snow and my kids posed while in their shorts.

You can get a picture taken professionally with Mickey at DTD. I don't know if he is dressed for the Holidays.

Sorry but Studio M is now gone. It closed up earlier this year. No more pictures with the Mouse at DTD. Was great while it lasted though.

We went to MVMCP last December and took a picture of our DS3 with Mickey and Minnie dressed up in their holiday costumes, and used the photo as our Christmas card.

Make a PS for a b/fast anywhere in MK, as early as you can. Get into the park before it opens. There are only the other early PS'ers.

Take a pic of your family in front of the Castle. I got a few great shots of my dd this way, noone was around.

When we were there several years ago, all along Main St. they had sleighs and carriages all decked out in greenery and poinsettias. You could put a Minnie Santa hat on your DD and snap some pictures of her in one of the sleighs.

You could also go to the GF for a picture in front of the beautiful tree or gingerbread house. They go all out with decorating at Christmas. If not there - the MK is definately the best choice. Who can resist a turn of the century Christmas. Hope it helps. Have a great trip!

Last week I took a pic of DD in the Christmas shop in DTD...wingback chair, complete with a tree and fireplace. She was also wearing the Minnie Santa hat.
There is a snowman at MGM.
I would love any picture with a character dressed in holiday attire.

I would say any good photo of your DD having a blast at Disney would make a great Christmas card. How about a photo of her on the carosel? I would try to take the photo yourself rather than one of Disney's "professional" shots. That way you won't get into any copyright problems.

Have a great trip-Disney is so great in December. What a fun Christmas it will be for you with a 13 month old!

Thank you for all the wonderful suggestions. Hopefully the problem will be choosing which picture to use, and not finding a spot.

I love the idea of putting her in a Santa hat!
