Myself, wife and twin daughters (9) have reservations here. Do they put on a good show?

My son (20) and I went for our first time last year and it was great. We had a young woman who did the cooking. She was funny and entertaining. With that said, I overheard a couple at the next table say that their cook wasn't as much fun as ours. I guess it depends on the mood of the cook and also the feedback from their diners. We showed her that we liked what she was doing by clapping, smiling, laughing; whatever. If you just sit like a lump (like that other table) the cook may think you don't want the show. We loved it and are going back in May. Have fun!

Agreed that the show varies by chef, and that being engaged in a polite way encourages the chef. Regardless, the food is fab!

Last time I stood on the grill and did a dance - they didn't like that a whole lot. I love this place - it's a lot of fun and the food is very good - great shrimp.

1) The chefs are good, but basically average for the industry.
2) You get better shows in other places in Orlando.
3) Yes, the WDW chefs are entertaining, but not great

WDW CHEFS:
. . . do the basic and tried-and-true tricks
. . . shrimp tails flipped into the hat
. . . onion volcano
. . . slapping the salt shaker on the grill edge
BUT:
. . . there is no rhythm
. . . the knives don't "sing"
. . . at other places, you hear a beat and an actual song
. . . think of Japanese drum performances vs just hitting drums randomly

Where else would be better ?
