I use the Matrix recommended by my Mom who does my coloring. It seems to work the best since red loses its color so quickly.

Good Housekeeping just did a big test on the lower-end of the market for this. The found that Loreal Colorists worked the best at keeping color refreshed. It's a professional product, but not really high end -- it seems to be about $15/bottle.

I use Pureology AntiFade shampoo and conditioner - the one in the purple bottle. I get it at the salon. It is expensive but you only need a little bit so it really isn't any more expensive than other brands. My color nevers fades and my hair is always really soft.

Ditto for me. I used to use Biolage, but the fragrances for Pureology are fantastic.

Alterna Caviar shampoo works wonders. Not cheap though. I stumbled upon it with a GC that was expiring, and am now hooked.
