Just returned last week renting 2 full size cars at Tampa Airport from EA. Got stuck in a traffic jam on our way back to airport and arrived only 50 min before flight. In our hurry SIL returned 1 of our cars and didn't get the confirmation out of the glove box. In looking at our check out receipt while on plane, I see we were charged $307 for that car and only $192 for the other. I had confirmations for both cars to be $192. Of course it was the car with the confirmation still in glove box! I thought I had saved the confirmation to e-mail on my computer, but checked when I got home and it was not there. I E-mailed National to try to get a copy of original reservation which was not available. I thought I was just out the $115., but they asked if they could help me in another way, so I told them my saga. I immediately got a reply and a refund to my credit card and an explanation as to why this sometimes happens. I hadn't picked up the car till a few minutes after midnight thus changing the reservation date. Any change makes it revert to regular prices. Anyway, I told them I was extremely happy with their service and would post it to this board for all to see.
