Most flip flops sit up too high and don't touch my foot on top. Even tennis shoes are uncomfortable if they put any pressure on my bunions. Besides, they're hot. I ordered some Columbia Nevis sandals and got them the DAY before we left. I was afraid that they would chafe between my toes since I didn't have time to break them in. They felt slightly tight at first, but they were stretchy enough that I risked it. I have to say that they were the best shoes I ever wore to walk in all day, even without breaking them in. I wore them 3 straight days at Disney and had no blisters or chafing. They don't slap your heels like loose flip-flops. They have a little bit of arch-support. My feet got tired, of course, but my bunions didn't ache all the way up into my legs the way I expected them to. If your foot is thick or wide, they might be too tight on you. Disboards won't let me post links yet, but do a search and you'll turn them up. They weren't cheap, but my feet are happy.
