Good rooms at Grosvenor Resort?

Just won a bid on priceline for Grosvenor Resort for 4/2/05 at $55. This hotel has mixed reviews. I am going to call and request non smoking etc...Are there special rooms I should request? It looks like I should request a tower room...

Most hotels don't give their very best rooms to Priceline customers, and they shouldn't (although I recently had a great room at the Hilton).

You can always ask, but let's face it, at $55 any room ought to be fine.

Request a tower room facing downtown disney. I think they call these rooms deluxe with a view. We stayed there on our last trip. The view was great. You could see Epcot in the distance. We could see part of illuminations from our room each night.

You will probably get a courtyard room for Priceline bids unfortunately. We loved the Tower Deluxe rooms and were able to see the fireworks. The room was large and clean. We will stay here again for sure. I would find out how much it would cost to U/G to the tower if they will tell you...
