Good Restaurants for those eating alone?

I'm looking for places outside of DLR for dinner that would be good for someone dining alone. I'll be staying at Stovall's and while I anticipate all my lunches being spent at DLR or the convention center, I'd like to go someplace for dinner.

I'm thinking restaurants that also have a bar to sit at would be good options - less awkward than sitting at a table alone. Also, someplace that doesn't have a meat market atmostphere - just looking to have dinner and maybe chat with other couples/families having dinner.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

Do you have a car?
Some of our favorite places to eat would also work solo:

California Pizza Kitchen, has a bar, fairly family-oriented (in fact I think that applies to many of the restaurants in the area marketing itself as "Anaheim Gardenwalk" over on Katella - Roy's, Bubba Gump, etc)
Outback/Red Robin are familiar food down on S Harbor near Target, pretty sure they both have 'bars' that aren't meat markets
In N Out - always tasty, though that's in Fullerton on Harbor its just standard fast food, but I like fast food when eating alone
House of Blues in Downtown Disney might be another option - haven't been to this location but I ate alone at the bar at the one in New Orleans years ago and found lots of nice tourists like myself who just wanted to enjoy the music and food.

Marri's Italian Restaurant is within walking distance from Stovall's, and is a great family-style place with wonderful food; here's a link to their website: http://marrispizza.com/ . It's a cozy little restaurant that's been there almost as long as the Park has. If for some reason you didn't want to eat there by yourself, they offer free delivery to your hotel room :thumbsup2

Great! Some good options for me to choose from. I also have a ridiculously hard time getting used to any sort of time change, so I'm sure be ready to eat dinner at 5:30 every night - maybe I should apply for an AARP card before my trip :rotfl:
